My friend showed me the concept of a creative writing class assignment she did and I decided to take a stab at it. It's pretty much inspired by somebody I know. I figured, why the heck not? So, I'm gonna share.
I loved him. I gave him everything and more. Two kids and my love. But as I stared at those words at the screen, when he told me there was nothing more I could do for him, I’d snapped. And then I realized I’d forgotten to do the most important thing of all. I’d forgotten to love myself.
Just a little tidbit I thought I'd share. I love this! I think I'll try to do more as time goes by. Until later y'all.
